Account and brand settings

Discover your brand agents and plan, set brand display name and content language, and send feedback to the Pendium team.

Read your account, find the syntheticId values that every other tool needs, adjust a brand's public display name and content language, and send feedback from an agent session.

When to use

Start any session with get_account — it returns your plan and every brand agent (owned or shared) with its latest score, so you can pick the syntheticId the rest of the tools require. Reach for update_brand_name and set_language when tuning how a brand presents and what language its auto-generated content is written in, and send_feedback whenever a tool misbehaves or you have an idea to improve it.

Typical sequence

  1. get_account — discover your syntheticId values and plan.
  2. update_brand_name — set the public display name shown on the brand's Brand Index page.
  3. set_language — set the language used for newly auto-generated content.
  4. send_feedback — report a bug, friction point, or idea at any time.

Tools

get_account

Get your Pendium account info: plan tier and every brand agent you can access — owned or shared with you through a team group — each with its latest visibility score. Call this first when connecting a new agent: it shows what's available and gives you the syntheticId values every other tool needs.

Authentication: Required

Type: Read-only.

Takes no parameters.

Key response fields:

FieldDescription
planCurrent plan: "free", "starter", "pro", or "managed"
agentCountHow many brand agents are in agents
agentsBrand agents owned by or shared with this account
agents[].syntheticIdThe agent ID used in all other tool calls
agents[].latestScoreMost recent visibility score (0–100), or null if no scan

The response also carries creditBalance and creditsUnlimited for compatibility with older clients. Both are always null: usage is measured against your plan, and a tool that hits the plan's limit says so in its own result.

update_brand_name

Set the brand's public display name — the name shown on its public Brand Index page (/brands/{brandSlug}). Changes the display name only, not the URL slug. Synchronous, no LLM call. The agent must already have a Brand Index entry; the call is rejected otherwise.

Authentication: Required

Type: Write — non-destructive.

ParameterTypeRequiredDescription
syntheticIdintegerYesThe agent whose public brand name to update.
namestringYesThe new public brand display name.

Returns success, the syntheticId, the new name, and the brandSlug.

set_language

Set the agent's content language — the language new auto-generated content (queries, personas, posts, etc.) is written in. Accepts a curated name or a custom one (e.g. Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese); an empty value resets to English. Synchronous, no LLM call. Changing the language does not regenerate existing content — it only affects the next auto-generation.

Authentication: Required

Type: Write — non-destructive.

ParameterTypeRequiredDescription
syntheticIdintegerYesThe agent whose content language to set.
languagestringYesThe content language (e.g. Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese). An empty value resets to English.

Returns success, the syntheticId, and the resolved language.

send_feedback

Send feedback, bug reports, or feature suggestions to the Pendium team directly from an agent session. Use it when you hit an error, get unexpected data, run into UX friction, or have an idea for how a tool could work better. Include as much context as possible — what you were trying to do, what happened, and what you expected.

Authentication: Required. Rate limited to 10 calls/hour per user.

Type: Write — non-destructive.

ParameterTypeRequiredDescription
categoryenumYesbug (broken), friction (works but harder than it should be), feature_request, data_quality (results seem wrong/incomplete), or praise.
summarystring (≤200)YesOne-line summary of the feedback.
tool_namestringNoWhich Pendium tool this relates to, e.g. get_account.
detailstring (≤2000)NoFull context: what you tried, what happened, what you expected, any suggested fix.
severityenumNoblocks_workflow, degrades_experience, minor, or suggestion.
contextobjectNoStructured session context: syntheticId, client (e.g. claude-code), error_message.

Free-text fields are sanitized and screened before storage. Pendium reviews all agent feedback to improve the MCP experience.
